Get involved as a School

The push for marriage equality is this generation’s fight and many students are wondering how they can getinvolved. Postcards to the President can keep students active in making a difference for all of 2009! You may also get involved as an Individual or as a Community.

STEP ONE

Buy or make a postcard. You may also obtain artwork from us.

STEP TWO

Team Postcards to the President with an already established event (i.e. a GSA Dance or concert) to kick off the movement. Get people to sign postcards with a personal note asking President Obama to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act. Ask for donations to cover the cost of printing and postage.

STEP THREE

Collect the postcards and send to:

STEP FOUR

Set up booths around popular places on campus to get people to sign and send postcards all year long.

STEP FIVE

Get other schools and communities involved.
